He's also known as Professor Maple xP besides being the 6th gym leader he's also the same dude that gives you your first Pokemon.
Antoine specializes at using bug type Pokemon and is a rather formidable opponent.
His team consists of a level 38 Motheon
, a level 38 Beetlip 
, a level 39 Scizor and a level 41 Flytastic (seen here).
Also seen here but not part of his battle team is his pet weedle, name Deedle.
Defeating him will earn you the Antennae Badge as well as TM62 (Silver Wind).

That's a cool idea having the professor also being a gym leader. O_o I wonder, does he keep his gym leader status secret to the trainers he gives new pokemon to?
Either way, great pic here. I think you especially did a good job on the hands (I suck at drawing hands and can never draw them in any remotely interesting position
